When I shop for fabric I always keep my eye open for fabrics that can be used in landscape or house theme quilts. So I will pick up fat quarters or quarters of a yard. This blue and brown fabric is just blue polka dots on brown bg. My neighbor says, you pick out the ugliest fabrics! The brown "shingle" fabric was in a box of fabrics given to me. It is all pieces of civil war type fabrics. I have been using fabrics out of that box to make the Benjamin Franklin mystery quilt on the blog, http://erikhomemade.typepad.com/erik_homemade/benjamin-franklin-mystery-quilt/

It is perfect! How did you find such great shingle and pebble fabric?
Oh Betty, that is adorable! You have the best fabric stash on the planet! I would like to go inside that quilt shop!
That's a really cute shop.
Hopefully I might get time to do another one after my trip away
I love your shop. Love your fabric for the roof. It is great.
How cute! What a great idea for a quilt - that helps me decide what to do.
