Here is my first Betsy Ross. The others are put together. I just need to finish the applique. But I am going out of town, so wanted to get this posted before I go.

I kept thinking I would get the row finished, but here it is the last day of the month and no go. So, here is my one little block... where does the time go?? And I am afraid it will get worse before the year is over!!

Lucy

Here is part of my row. I was afraid I wasn't going to get it done this time around as I have had an infection in my finger that has really cramped my style. But, it is almost better (6 weeks later) and with a little Motrin... I know one of my stripes is going the wrong direction, but when you use up scraps, that sometimes happens. :-)

I have 2 blocks to swap this time. Lucy

I got mail......

AUSTRALIA POST has delivered my 2 blocks.

Block 40 from Lucy. I love the Suffolk puff. The block is also more green and yellow than it appears.

Block 48 from Deana. I just love the polka dot button.

I am very happy my blocks are very different than the ones I have made. Just waiting on one more now.

I can't believe they are so much smaller than the quilt shop. I may have to make some more.

Another block received

Lucy received her final block from Edith today.

Lucy reports in.

All my blocks went out yesterday. I have received 3 of 5 so far. They are wonderful!!

Lucy made 5 blocks to swap!

Lucy put yo-yos for her centers.  She is swapping 5 flowers.

Blocks emailed in to me...

I have had a busy weekend with a family reunion and tons of other family in town for my daughter's homecoming from Russia.  I fed 150 people today.  It was a joy though.

Here are the swap blocks that have been emailed in to me this week:

I think I totally spaced letting you know about mailing the blocks. I did mail both of mine and I have received both of them as well.

Lucy is swapping 2 blocks.

Here are the two blocks Lucy is swapping for October.

Lucy has all of her blocks.

I am home from mu quilt retreat and my other sewing machine is here. It is wonderful as well! It came from Betty Cruikshank in Canby, OR.

Meet Lucy and her Good Vibration blocks

I have made 4 blocks – 2 to exchange (one of each kind).

I don’t have a blog or anything, so here is the photo.

Thanks!

I took the liberty of cropping her photo for the group photo, so I decided to post them.
