February Pin Cushion Swap

The random sample chart is below.

Ann and Jo each drew their own blocks so I switched them with each other.  Here is the list:

Here are the photos of the swap blocks for February.  Thanks everyone for your participation!  They are all so cute.

Remember to send a pin cushion block with a "between" block to your swap partner.  Thank you.

Finally Caught Up

Terrible picture but I did get all the pin cushions sewn, they all need pins in them and I'll get to that soon.
This one below is to share.

I made 4 little quilt shops and some of them still need embellishment but I love, love, love the way they turned out and can't thank Deanna enough for her adorable creativity!

The little quilt below is a paper pieced sewing machine.  If anyone would like the pattern you can find it HERE.  I found it on Pinterest.
I made a cute little quilt for the one below but it is too big so I'll save it for the next row.
I plan to  embroider a wreath on this door and above the windows and put some cute flowers in the window boxes using buttons.

I'm having a knee replacement on Monday so I may get behind again but I'll do my best to keep up now.

Finally!

I finally got my pincushion and alternate blocks ready to swap. Just in the nick of time!

I can't seem to get my photos to load correctly. They are straight in my folder, but come up sideways and upside down. Maybe when I actually post them, they will "straighten up." So, here are 2 pincushions from an electronically challenged person (Lucy):

Cathy - Pin Cushion Blocks Completed

I'm really glad these blocks were so simple because I was struggling to get them done!  I finished these up last night.

I'll be swapping the two on the bottom left.

Blocks received in OZ

Hi All,
Just got back home from 2 weeks holiday in Tasmania. I have mail.
Thankyou so much Deana and Daryl. Lovely blocks.
Don't worry about too much about the postage. Daryl, your envelope weighs a bit more than a normal envelope too. Maybe look for a lighter weight when posting over seas...
Thankyou so much for your lovely blocks.
Daryl I love your quilt

Pin cushions

I have decided this new phone does not take the best pics Here are my two pincushions that I will swap.  The  "between" block that goes with the pincushion is directly under the one I want it to be sent with.  Looking forward to the last row and then what could "she" possibly have in store for us for the border?  I'm hooked!

Quilts in the Garden - Final Row

Today is the day to reveal the final row in the quilter's garden.  If you look close the little quilts are not finished yet and are pinned on, but I think you can get the idea.

We will be swapping these blocks in the month of March.  There will be one final swap in April for the border blocks.  It's going to be fun!

Lyn's pin cushion to swap

Here are Lyn's pincushion and "between" block to swap.

Received shop block from Linda

I received my block from Linda on Tuesday. It is really lovely. She did a fabulous job and I have to say that the picture doesn't do it justice.  Thanks Linda.

Also, I sent my block on February 3rd. I hope it arrived safely.

Pin Cushion Blocks Done

I have finished my pin cushion and "between" blocks. They were fun to make, but finding the beads was a little difficult. I ended up buying a bag of mixed sizes and colors, then choosing what I wanted from the selection.
Here are the blocks

Quilt Shop Blocks, Phyllis and Daryl

The quilt shop block that Phyllis sent to me arrived on Friday and it is beautiful.  So nicely done and a lot of extra details added.  I don't know how you parted with it!!  It must have gotten caught in machine at post office because envelope had hole torn in it and the envelope was really wrinkled like it had been wadded up and straightened out.  Luckily the zip bag protected the block from any damage.  It is in perfect condition.
I mailed my block on Friday to Daryl.  Post office said it should be delivered on Monday.
