Ann's Autumn Country Rule 6

My road is the free motion cutting. I have been using this on my river in previous blocks, so am familiar with this.
My log cabin is paper pieced. It was fun, and I wish I had made it bigger, because the windows had 4 panes instead of one, but they were as big as the cabin, so I cut them down. The garden, cabin, shrubs and trees, and the sunflowers, wagon, and fence are all appliquéd on. I found some fabric that I was able to cut out and raw appliquéd, so it turned out fun. The smoke is embroidered, and I will probably re-do it. It is too stark.
The whole thing together. It is pretty fun to look at. Good luck to everyone else.
We are headed to the Seattle area for Grandkid activities this weekend. So had to get this posted before we leave.

I am impressed with the way you keep your path running through each block and it actually lines up each time. I love your log cabin. Your project just gets more fun with each block. Congrats on an early finish.

It is so lovely. The fence and cabin area are my favorite. It just keeps getting better.

I forgot to mention that the details add so much: white mud between the logs, the fence, the garden and flowers, etc...

I love your cabin. I don't think the smoke is too stark. It's cute. So, are you in Washington? Funny for you to be there and not me!

Steph, they are appliqued from a Christmas fabric. Dorine, wish I could have time to see your kids. Rodeo, baseball and Steph's school play have kept us on the run. Will post on my personal blog on Tues, when I get home.
