Bird Rule 11 Reveal
Well, ladies, here his my rule 11 reveal. Good thing it was scheduled today as I will be without my computer for a couple of weeks. This one is kind of funky but fun.
Whooo can tell what my bird is? The center of the eyes are buttons. The needles on the tree, the texture of the bark, and the beak and feet are machine embroidery.

You're owl is just darling Dorine! And so clever to put it in a tree!
Your creativity astounds me. Very clever block, and very clever use of the rule!
This is so cute! I Love it!
I am going to come over to your house and get that block and put it in my quilt! I am not even going to wait for you to mail it to me. LOL. I love it. It is adorable. Did you applique the tree by hand then embellish it with machine stitches?
What a cute owl. Love your project. It is such a perfect interpretation of the rule. XOXO
Have a wonderful 2 weeks and drive safely. We love you
Yes, Betty, I did applique everything by hand then do machine embroidery to finish it off. It was really fun! You can't have this one. Shall I make you another?
I love it. Can't wait to see it in your quilt.
You did a great job Dorine. I will enjoy seeing more pictures of your work yet to come. You don't need to make me an owl. Thanks. I put a piece of fabric with owls on it in the lower corner of my latest block!
