Full Bird Block # 4

Well, at last it is reveal day! I decided to keep this block really simple. As most of you guessed, what you saw on the teaser was partly a dove wing, but the other part was the tail. I turned it sideways. Here is the complete picture. (Sorry about the background, I got bits of the quilt that is on the bed in my sewing room. That's not part of my bird quilt. It's a double wedding ring I quilted last winter.)I used the freezer paper on top method of needle turn applique and found it to work well for me. Here is the block with the rest of my birdies.

Your block is beautiful. I love the doves and how well they blend in with the rest of the blocks. What a cute project you are creating.

I really like your birds. I figured you were using it as needle turn and pos/neg but had no idea how it was really going to look. You did a great job.
