Here is the penguin block added to the owl block. Can't wait to add the last block to the top of this strip and sew it to the side of the quilt.

Oh Dorine, gotta love that penguin!! I don't know how you ever made that block fit into a Buggy Barn or how you ever found time to make it since you are on a new and wonderful adventure. I am SO HAPPY that you feel you can still participate.
Love your penguin. He is very wonky, but that is the idea. Love your note at the bottom. That really ties in the theme and the reason. I think my quilt will become the bedspread for my bed. My wedding ring quilt is really starting to show it's age. That way I will still have it when you get back.
I also wanted to add that the way you used the "words" rule was very smart. I hadn't thought to use them as my quilt label.
Your hard work turned out very well. Your penguin is great. Good for you.
I'm impressed with the way your penguin turned out with a buggy barn block. Your quilt is so very creative and fun. Maybe one day I'll get all caught up and post early. Wow, wouldn't that be fun.
