Granny Annie's Garden Rules 10 & 11

I'm going to pull a fast one here. I'm trying to catch up & since I'm doing wallhangings instead of the quilt I'm combining Rules 10 & 11. The 2 sides are my 4 disappearing 9 patches. I made one folded insert flower. The rest is yo- yos & raw edge applique. The yo-yos were such fun but I don't think there's a cathedral window anywhere in my future - but I'm glad I at least tried a folded insert.

Oh my, AnnMarie, that is a gorgeous piece. I LOVE what you did with the rules. The Cathedral Windows really set off the theme of your flowers. I also love the colors. As suggested by my theme, I love fall colors and this piece is full of those colors!!!!

That is very pretty. And so clever too! All the flowers are nice. I like the leaves too.

Wow! It is quilted, bound, and adorable!! I love your bright colors.

It is fun to see disappearing nine patches pop up and all of their many beautiful uses. I love them on the ends of your quilt.

You really went to town on the yo-yos. I also like your Cathedral Window portion for the folded insert technique. I want to try one someday.
