It is time to release the October mystery for the Quilter's Garden. I am calling it "Rotaries in Bloom". The pattern and instructions will be released via email to participants on October 1st.
A row will look like this if you are making a throw size. Queen size will have an extra block.
Remember, you must make a sewing machine block to swap in September in order to receive the "Rotaries in Bloom" pattern for October. Late comers are welcome but will have to purchase past patterns they missed or come up with their own rows.
We have about 1 week left before the window closes on the sewing machine swap, so get those photos posted or emailed to me to participate. I can't wait to see them!

Deana this block is so darn cute! I love the rotary cutter in the center too!!!! Love it!!! Can't wait to get started on this one.
Did you use fabric, or something else for the rotary blades?
The silver center is a washer attached with a black button at the center. I am including a pattern for anyone who would prefer to applique' fabric instead. I just like how real it looks with the washer.
This is beyond cute!!! I can't wait to do this block. And you are seriously stretching my skills.
Very creative. So cute!
You are so creative! I love the new row.
I hope you will find this block easier than the "Good Vibration" sewing machine blocks. They are much easier than they look. The dresdon flower is very simple if you cut accurate and sew an exact 1/4" seam. The only edges that will need to be turned under for the applique' will be 3 sides of the rotary cutter unless you fuse and blanket stitch. I think these "Rotaries in Bloom" are fun to make. I hope you will all enjoy making them as I have.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. Those rotaries are SOOOOO cute! I love Dresden patterns! Can't wait for next week and the pattern.
Very fun... can't wait to make this block. Hey, I can't seem to find the address to send our blocks to. Help;)
I will send everyone an email the first day or two in October telling you where to send the blocks to. It will be randomly selected, so I have to wait to see who else will make a block. I hope that answers your question.
I absolutely love it!
Thank you for the info...I'm new at this.
Love how this block looks! Am looking forward to making it.
